Me, chilling in the garden

Good question don't you think? What is the point of a blog? Well, I don't really fancy writing in the usual vein, where the 'blogger' guides you through their often mundane life and tries to make it sound either funny, exciting or  even more boring that it can possibly be, yes Chris, that's you! I wanted my blog to be called something witty, and taking the baton from my cool and witty sister I decided to pun on my wonderful surname, Watts. Initially it was 'Watts the deal?' then 'Watts up with that Guy?' (such an elaborate wordplay that I doubt even the most intrepid reader will understand) and after going through a number of other options We landed on Watts the point?
     Well, let me tell you what the point is then: I propose, rather than describing my life I will describe my friends. Each post will cover one of my acquaintance and although I don't want to use it as an opportunity to insult anyone there will no doubt be a little banter involved. I'm pretty sure I'm infringing on data protection laws but I promise, I won't release any sensitive information (pin numbers, phone numbers, addresses and the like)
      One final point I'll add is that the order of these posts is not planned and the friends described will be in no particular order, I mean, don't get me wrong, I do have a hierarchy logged away upstairs but I'm not about to let anyone know where exactly they sit.
